Terry has been helping churches and their members in the areas of planned giving and charitable estate planning for over 25 years. His goal is to see individuals maximize their giving to their church and other favorite charities and provide for their families through an up-to-date will and estate plan. He has served as a stewardship representative for an international mission organization (TEAM), as director of estate planning/planned giving for a private Christian liberal arts college (Bryan College) and as director of planned giving for a state university (Kennesaw State University). During this time, Terry has presented over 250 charitable estate planning seminars to churches, schools and other charities. Of these, over 100 have been presented to churches. He has served as a consultant and Sr. Vice President-Internet Marketing, with Crescendo Interactive, Inc., where he consulted and advised charities throughout the United States. He now serves as Director of Charitable Resource Associates, LLC (CRA), a planned giving consulting firm he founded. He works with churches and charities by providing planned giving counsel and marketing tools for major planned gifts, with an emphasis on lead generation and signed will bequests. Terry is a past President of the Georgia Planned Giving Council, past chair of Leave A Legacy Georgia and is a member of the Christian Estate Planning Council of Atlanta. CRA’s program emphasizes the implementation of planned gifts and maximizing a donor’s giving potential. Our highly successful Gateway Wills Bequest Campaign has resulted in over 2,500 families completing their wills and estate documents. A unique feature of our program is that 98% of the families Terry has counseled actually have completed and signed their wills and estate documents, with over 70% including a bequest or other type of major planned gift to their church and/or favorite charities through their will or estate plan. Terry has the experience and unique expertise that is required to successfully implement this type of program.
